תפיסת "אחת ולתמיד"

אחת ולתמיד היא תפיסה רפואית המיושמת בגסטרומד, על פיה כל המהלכים שנועדו להפחית את הסיכון לחלות בסרטן המעי, מבוצעים במהלך בדיקת הקולונוסקופיה. מטרתה של תפיסה זו לשפר את התהליך האנדוסקופי ואת איכות הבדיקה באופן מיטבי, ולמקסם את התוצאות.

על פי תפיסה זו, באמצעות מספר פרמטרים אנו יוצרים תנאים מיטביים לגילוי מוקדם וטיפול בממצאים קיימים. הקפדה על יצירת התנאים הללו, משפרת משמעותית את תוצאות הבדיקות המוקדמות ולכן מפחיתה את הסיכוי לחלות בעתיד.

בהתקיים התנאים המיטביים בהם מתקיימת הבדיקה, תוצאות תפיסת "אחת ולתמיד" הן:
